Application Process/Requirements
The Student Sphere welcomes ambitious, capable students to apply to become part of our peer review team. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience and insight to various fields of research and contribute to the larger youth scientific community! Applications are conducted in the following manner:

Step 1 - ​Submit Application
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants should begin by filling out the application form.

Step 2 - Additional Requests
A few weeks after submitting the initial application form, our team may request a letter of recommendation or a short interview via phone call or zoom.

Step 3 - Final Decision
Within 30 days of submitting the application form, our team will issue a formal decision via email.
Expectations/Responsibilities
Becoming a peer reviewer with The Student Sphere is a unique, rewarding experience for students interested in making an impactful contribution to the broader scientific community. Peer reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality and fairness of our journal. Therefore, we ask that all accepted reviewers fulfill the following responsibilities:

Provide quality commentary and request appropriate revisions for manuscripts

Initial commentaries must be completed within 15 days of receiving the manuscript

Respond to emails in a timely manner - ideally within one week

Collaborate constructively with editors and other reviewers throughout the review process

This position is entirely virtual and largely self paced, making it a valuable extracurricular activity for students around the world. Leadership positions are also available upon inquiry! We are excited for you to join our community!
